He has extensive experience as a professional chef. Over the years, he has cooked in Michelin-starred kitchens in New York and Italy. Before meeting David Myers, he worked as executive sous chef and then executive chef for award-winning chef Piero Selvaggio.
Chef Samson’s cooking has garnered the attention of The Los Angeles Times, Bon Appetit, Saveur as well as the appreciation of guests at the James Beard House in New York City. He is also an inductee in the Institute of Culinary Education Alumni Hall of Achievement and while working under Piero Selvaggio, was named American Culinary Federation’s Chef of the Year in 2003.
