"Lori Hoberman embodies all the qualities that make us proud to be women: strength, beauty, compassion, grace, humor, leadership and integrity. A corporate lawyer specializing in venture financing, she also is an amazing wife, mother and mentor, incredibly fun friend, and literally swims with sharks (besides the global business market) as a deep sea diver and photographer."--Ceslie Armstrong, founder of Momentum Women™

Throughout the year, CESLIE: The Women's Network™ honors a woman who personifies the qualities that set the standard for the modern businesswoman. In September 2006, we were pleased to honor Lori S. Hoberman.
Lori Hoberman
On September 20, 2006, Carre Otis, Barbara Gaines, Tamsen Fadal, and Ceslie Armstrong hosted a private cocktail soiree and toasted honoree Lori S. Hoberman at NYC hot spot “Honey. The invitation to the event said the following about Lori:

"Lori Hoberman embodies all the qualities that make us proud to be women: strength, beauty, compassion, grace, humor, leadership and integrity. A corporate lawyer specializing in venture financing, she also is an amazing wife, mother and mentor, incredibly fun friend, and literally swims with sharks (besides the global business market) as a deep sea diver and photographer."

For two hours, 75 NYC power women enjoyed fabulous wines from Feudo Arancio and sipped yummy La Certeza Tequila Cosmopolitans. Ceslie interrupted the networking by tapping on one of the darling mini glass bottles of Evian that were on hand and quieted the room. She presented Lori with a gorgeous Tiffany & Company crystal platter and Lori shared some amusing and heartfelt anecdotes that really made an emotional impact on the women in the room. After a lot of laughter and a few (happy) tears, it was right back to Chef Victor Rodriguez's delicacies and more business card exchanges.
